A Brilliant Place - A Must Visit
Great Lakes Science Center makes science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) come alive for more than 300,000 visitors a year through hundreds of hands-on exhibits, exhibitions, the Cleveland Clinic DOME Theater, Steamship William G. Mather, daily science demonstrations, seasonal camps, and more. We're home to the NASA Glenn Visitor Center, where you’ll find an awesome space experience with galleries, interactive exhibits, fascinating artifacts and amazing NASA media. Visit The Cafe, located on the lower level of Great Lakes Science Center. See spectacular views of North Coast Harbor as you enjoy delicious meals and nutritious snacks, including oven-baked homemade pizza, hand-crafted sandwiches, homemade soups and seasonal salads. Burgers, chicken tenders, hot dogs and fries are always available as well! Worth the trip.
Loved the Body Worlds exhibit. Very interesting. Also enjoyed all the interactive exhibits for kids. I’d highly recommend. My only complaint is that they don’t have large sizes in the gift shops. XL wasn’t even really a CLE XL. Also, I bought two of those robots that follow the marker wherever you write a line, but one didn’t work. I live an hour away and it’s not worth the drive and paying for parking to return it, so be careful what you purchase at the gift shop.

Spring break with the family
We have been to probably a half dozen science centers. This is pretty much the same as the rest. Good activity if you have kids under 10 I would say. Numerous interactive displays. Most were in working order. We were done after about an hour and a half. We mostly go to museums during our vacations and the kids (14 and 10) gave this place a "meh" on a scale of "I'd rather be in school" to "I want to live here forever".
