Beautiful temple enroute Puri to Konark. Excellent road to destination and sign boards good to guide and so does Google Map. Near to the Lotus Eco and the Wild Dunes resort. It is on the banks of the Kushabhadra river. Goddess Ramachandi is the presiding deity of Konark and it was a peaceful and blissful experience being here. I went to this temple with my family on the occasion of my mother's death anniversary. The temple is big and your old. Due to lockdown the no of devotees are less. We took puja samagri from outside and than purchase ticket which is 2/- per person. There are Jagannth and Bhairavi temple in the same premise. when i heard of this place from my friends, i couldnt stop myself to drive down to this place. its was around 3 hour drive from berhampur, but worth it. the peace and serenity was awesome. however with a small kid its difficult to maintain the same. would request people who visit this monastery to honor the monks out there and not to take photos inside the shrine ( it clearly reads no photos in certain areas ). the reason i am writing this is because i saw a lot of photos by fellow reviewers taken inside the shrine.See more..
