We took the boat trip into Laguna Carpintera. You travel down the canal , with commentary, into the Laguna where you see a wide variety of wildlife. We saw crocodiles, iguanas, turtles and lots of birds

Must ride on the boat
You can walk and take a boat for a 30-40 minutes ride. It is like 2.5 dollars per person. It goes through a channel to the Woodpecker lagoon and back. You will see iguanas, birds, crabs and crocodiles. You can also walk around it and some days they have music or shows around it like Triachi which is like a three persons mariachi.

Not much to see.
This is just the canl that connects the carpintero lagoon with the river. There are a few rest stops along the length of the canal bit not much to do, no activities or anything like that. Might be good for a picnic or just a walk.
