The German Jewish immigrant museum is wonderful
Went to the German museum founded by my Mother's teacher. Even found a picture of my mother in the museum. Found it very nostalgic and had a great tour.

Interesting Find in the Lower Galilee
This Industrial Park has multiple museum locations on the grounds. The first has a history of how the Ashkenazi Jews of Europe, mostly from Germany with some from Austria and Poland, influenced the founding of the State of Israel. Beginning in the 1900s, European Jewry wanted to foster a Jewish homeland in the region known as Palestine. It was still under turkish rule at that time, until after WW I, when the British took control. People with skills as politicians, authors, architects, journalists, agriculture and wine making specialists, infrastructure development and other specialties provided their expertise. Their individual contributions and collective result are featured in this museum. There is another facility with a collection of vintage cars and a third displays the work of a sculpture who used various materials to make life like sculptures of men, women and children. There are also some craft shops but they are only open during certain days of the week.

German Jewry Heritage Museum
The pioneering activities of German speaking Jewry in Israel's north isn't something that receives much attention, so we were happy to avail ourselves of a recent long weekend there to expand our horizons. Located in the Tefen industrial zone, the German speaking Jewry heritage museum provided a good perspective on the subject in a well-kept space peppered with impressive art objects. This site is one of a number of museums included in the Open Museum expanse, well worth the time of visitors.
