Small attraction, judge upon your time.
The Steam Baths can be visited via a combo ticket. We purchased a ticket including the Citadel, the Tunnels and the Steam bath. Attention: the ticket booth is far away from the Steam baths, so you have to walk to find your way to the monument that you wan to visit. They give you headphones in 5 different languages (if I remember well) so that you can witness the two films showing in the main halls of the steam bath. The building itself is not that big. A few rooms showing scenes from the baths daily routine with bronze figures representing the visitors and the employees there. Interesting, but I don;t know if I would allocate more than 20 min in there, including the photo taking.

    Good, Creative and Fun
This is a cute and novel way of presenting history - you may find it a bit kitschy and juvenile - however as the first stop in a tour of the various ancient sites of the Old City of Acre (Akko) it is appropriate - also the kids may enjoy it. Get a combination ticket that gives you admittance to it, and other old sites, the major one being the Crusader Halls.
