And then the sight will be amazing. We had exceptional precipitations in Israel this winter, and therefore the currents were exceptional as well. Kineret is filling again and all the rivers and "Nehalim" in the North are strong. More the reason to take your car on a weekend visit the Northern Natural Reserve. I would recommend buying the Matmon Card of the Israel Nature and Park Authority to get free access to your and your family all year long to all the Nature Reserves and National Parks. You'll get back your investment in 4 visits only and then you'll be able to come back as many times as you wish. Israel is not a big country but we have many amazing places to visit that change during the year, and Banyas is one of them.

yearly visit....must win
come early in the morning before all the croud comes. use the yearly ticket u can buy so u can enter all the places in same card for one year. ticket costs abt 200 IS so if u visit 5 places natiral reservation u got yr investment back. u can take the short wat 10 minutes to the water fall or the long one (abt 1 hour). the waterfall is great. Absolutely Beautiful
This is our first visit here in 20 years, and we weren't disappointed. There is a "hanging path" over the stream, the roar of the water is deafening yet very soothing, and the views of the stream and the waterfall are stunning. The water is actually blue, and so clear you can see the fish swimming in the rapids. Paths are well marked and safe. While covid-19 restrictions persist, you need to book on the website. Well worth the visit.
