    Know before you go.
Take note of the many rules. Strictly no food or beverage can be taken in and the guards will check. Baby products are ok. No cash anywhere inside. Credit or Debit cards only and you cannot sign to your hotel room. Vouchers can also be used. The only place to sign on your room is the Brew Monkey Restaurant. You cannot get towel rentals and instead have to buy your towel or bring your own. There are also certain shallow sections of the waves pool to avoid as the surface is very badly torn and could cut your feet. This is mainly near the food court area. Otherwise the area is clean, lots of life guards and loads of drink and ice cream stations.

    Fun day in the sun
Fun day out with the kids. You pay one entrance fee per person and all rides are included. They have other activities within the waterpark which are charged additionally, for example, an obstacle course above the beach/waves. This looks like heaps of fun. The rides are well organised and are all manned by friendly, professional staff. The entire resort is well looked after, with the water and beach being cleaned regularly. You may not take any of your own food or drinks into the park but there is a restaurant and heaps of beach bars. You can hire lockers for your personals and towels are also available for hire. The beach is full of beach chairs, so you can laze around any enjoy the sun. If you come late, you could struggle to find a chair but there are loads. It's a very fun day out with the kids. I can definitely recommend it. If you're going for the day and coming from Gauteng, arrive early and leave at least two hours before sunset, as the road is not good at all.
