Nice to go with kids of all ages
This is a very nice swimming pool for kids. It’s quite big and has a lot of different things to do for the very small ones and the larger kids

Seriously. Stay away during the summer. Or holidays. Or weekends. Or after school. Or any day people have a day off. This place will get really crowded. If you want to go for a swim, go during the morning. That's the best time you'll get to swim your 25 meters back and forth. (or forth and back again?) After school, schoolkids will come here for swimming lessons. Everyone has to take swimming lessons in the Netherlands, because more than half the country is below sea level. It's an alright place to go with your family and if you have small children who'd rather go to the pool than go to church on a Sunday.

The only swimmingpool
De Waterhoorn is the only big public swimming pool in the city of Hoorn. This pool has two 25 meter pool, a fun pool with a stream and a nice long slide. The fun pool is only 1.35 deep. Around the fun pool are bubble baths and a couple of steam rooms. Overall this is an o.k. swimming pool but not spectacular.
