Lectures, films, workshops and tasty activities like building cookie-factories using Verkade biscuit, make edible postcards, or get started with real Verkade chocolate!Besides the activity program we offer several investigative routes, you can design a wrapper for a chocolate bar, and of course taste the different Verkade Cookies . With the serious games you can test whether you 're just as agile as a Verkademeisje, or that you still have more talent for baking cookies .With the serious games on the factory square you become an engineer, planner, operator, technician or designer and will be introduced to the variety of technical occupations in the food sector.

Zaans Museum Review
A great museum of the Dutch Industrial contribution of Zaans Schans region with the windmills in the region. Surprised on the cookie “Maria”, famous in Mexico my home country, made there. Had a great experience and recommended highly!

Pick up the Zaanse Schans card here before seeing everything else
Great little museum. Verkade factory superb, kid friendly with great exhibits and free samples of biscuits. Buy the Zaanse Schans card here before visiting the rest of the area - discounts on food, free entry to some of the other attractions in the traditional dutch village. If you're visiting Amsterdam you must come here. Suggest take 391 bus from Amsterdam Centraal - takes you straight to their door in 30mins and runs every 30 mins
