Very sweet little place
A small museum completely maintained by this sweet couple. It has interesting pieces that speak about the history and culture of Volendam. They have a unique room which has been made with cigar stickers ( or something like that ) ... It's the first pic attached here. Would suggest one to donate so that they have enough for the upkeep of his beautiful place full of warmth. Lovely souvenirs too :)

Nice tourist attraction
I was at the famous Volendam for a few hours. I ate kibbeling ( deep fried fish filet) and of course “ de Nieuwe Hollandse Haring” (raw herring with chopped onions) which is very famous in Holland. Also we took a picture in traditional Volendam costumes at a special photo booth. Very vintage scenery. You can also see how cheese is made at a special store. Please be aware of a strong milk scent while visiting the cheese shop. Overall I nice place to be. If the weather is nice you can sit down and enjoy a nice breeze by the water or go on a boat ride.
