An enthusiastic family brewery
After meeting Jasper, one of the family members, at a retailer in De Koog we visited the brewery in Den Burg. We were received by Marinka, hoe twin sister. Since we were the only people at the moment she introduced the brewery to us, told us the history and gave information about the beers when she served the taste glasses. Since it was a Thursday, no tour was planned. But when a group Germans arrived her father did a tour which we joined. All was done in a very enthusiastic way, with passion for the process, the ingredients and the product. It turned out to be a very educational and entertaining afternoon with the family Diks, who are so enthusiatic about their tasteful beers.
