If you visit Volendam, a picture in Volendam costume is an unbeatable memory. Photographer Zwarthoed is a true Volendam photo studio with real photographers. Our photo studio has been in existence since 1920 and we have photographed countless people in Volendam's costume. Such as groups, families, business colleagues, toerists, couples, children, adults etc. Our costumes are original and always freshly washed. The accessories and attributes we use are old and original volendams. Those details make a picture in costume the real thing. Having your picture taken is a fantastic and funny experience and you also get a perfect foto. A reminder of a great day in Volendam. We would like to welcome you in our friendly photo studio!

Efficient, friendly and fun
You get really cute pictures taken in one of three back grounds; we chose the house one. The staff are all really friendly and really good at getting you dressed into the traditional wear. Not only do you get print offs (we got two normal sized photos for €20) but they will take pictures on your phone too. Really great experience my mum always comes back to this one! And remembers which one it is by the famous Indonesians in the window. Brilliant service, will be coming back soon with more family!

A nice place to visit in Volendam
Last early summer 2017, I sited Volendam for the first time. It was a greatest holiday I ever had. I went there with my husband, my mom dan my three sisters. We took our pictures in holland costumes in this place. I like the photograph, the srvices and the hospitality, Hope someday we well there again.
