Worth a stop
We visited at 6pm and had the lookout to ourselves. We could clearly hear the birds in the distance and enjoyed the views. The lookout is a 5 minute, easy walk from the road and there is a free telescope at the lookout complete with a poster of birds you might see (in Dutch only). Binoculars are highly recommended.
