Tranquility and art combined
Should you wish to get away from the busy shopping streets of Breda, get to this place. Two access points and open during the day but still easily overlooked. In fact it is the innercourt of the housing buidlings around the garden but it is accesible to the public. Silence required to be kept but that is not an issue. Several works of art are dotted amidst the nice bushes and trees. Not all too colurfull but exactly an image of nature inside the city centre

Pretty courtyard
Amazing, green, stuffed with objets d'art. Great place, cool hangout for chilling in any kind of weather, very nice venues to be found here during the Breda Jazz Festival.

Nice, silent place in the beating heart of Breda
Willem Merkx was major of Breda from 1967 until 1983 and as a good bye gift he gave Breda this nice garden. His goal was to have a silent place with tranquility in the city center of Breda. It is very nice and there are some nice pieces of art inside the small garden. Also a nice venue at the yearly Jazz Festival as small bands will be playing there. Place note that it will be open during daytime during the week from 08:00 - 16:00 in the weekend from 11:00 - 17:00.
