Beautiful!
It had been like 8 years since I was at Thermen Goirle and it has changed a lot. The whole site has been renovated and some new buildings have been placed. The whole place has a very relaxing atmosphere, everything is clean and the saunas are very nice. There are sufficient different ones, all varying in temperature. But all of them are spacious and well maintained. The restaurant is also very good. Good portions and a decent choice of the menu.

An evening out in the sauna with some food
The two of us spent an evening here on a package deal. Arriving after 18.00 you can opt for the package deal sauna plus a two course meal for around 40 Euro per person. We are familiar with the sauna. It is a good facility with a variety of sauna's, pools and a nice garden. The choice of food was limited by the facility with only a choice between meat or fish. I had a soup as a starter, my wife a salad. As a main I ordered meat which turned up as a burger and my wife the fish, salmon. We were curious about the food. We typically find package deals to be a bit of a scam. This was not the experience here. Food was surprisingly good, though nothing exceptional. Just plain good quality. One downside we experienced was the waiting time for the food. After ordering we waited the better part of an hour and this was not during rush hour. After asking for the food it was served quite rapidly. So all in all a pretty good deal for an evening out.

Excellent wellness centre
I have visited this Thermen together with my gf on a saturday evening. Nice big thermen with lots to do. The good: Nice, clean and pretty. Plenty of saunas and steamrooms. I liked the outside jacuzzis and the large infrared sauna. Also good: personal is invisible. -Nice big lockers. The bad: -Restaurant was so-so. The food was not that good. Especially on a saturday evening I like to drink and eat a bit but my satey and fish croquettes were kinda plain. -Parking places? We almost turned around when we saw that there were no parking spaces left --》that left us thinking that it was really busy, which it was not. The ugly: They have a new snow room. I have seen that at other places and the idea is that there is actual snow you can use and not one big brick of ice.
