Grand church
For me, one of Tilburg’s nicest attractions is this church of Saint Joseph. It is neo-Gothic and found in the centre of the city by the main square. The two prominent towers outside reach almost eighty-metres high and are very striking. The interior arches and colonnades are less unique but still grand all the same.

Tilburg's most beautiful church
This Gothic church is by the architect Kuijpers. It is in the classic Gothic style in the shape of a cross. When you visit the town centre it is easy to visit, because it sits at the heart of the city. Mass is usually on sunday morning

Late 19th century neogotic church in the center of Tilburg. During the day you can access the first section of the church that is separated from the main hall by a metal grate. There are two chapels here: one with a lovely madonna, the other with a bleeding Jesus on a cross. The latter is a sculpture from 1999. There is blood all over the lifelike image of Jesus who looks like an ordinary white man (1.80m). The message: he suffered for our sins.
