My second discovery of the existing theater in NL in the church
Love this unusual construction -glass pavilion embracing the church and this ensemble fits harmonically in the urban environment. When the old Speelhuis theater burned out in 2012 the Church of Our Lady refuged the theater and became the temporary place for theatrical activities. This temporary solution turned into permanent and the Church, built by the Dutch architect Jos Margry in 1914 in Neo-Byzantine style, became the Speelhuis Theatre.
