Small, Unique Cathedral with Lots of Character
This small cathedral defines the skyline of Cuijk. It was built at the beginning of the 20th century and survived the war mostly intact. There is a great organ (17th century) inside as well as a large and beautifully carved altar piece (19th century) by Hendrik van der Geld. The church is free to visit and the friendly volunteers inside gave us a pamphlet in English. Visitors can walk straight onto the choir/presbytery/pulpit area to view the altar up close. An attraction for all people and all ages!

Excellent organ
When Napoleon closed the French monasteries many of their organs went to churches in the south east Netherlands. Although this building only dates from 1911, the organ is a French classical instrument with parts dating back to 1525. It also has a very fine carillon with what some have considered the best ringing room in Europe.

Don^t miss the Organ concerts in Summer. A must
Don^t miss the Organ concerts in Summer, very special events with the Severijnorgan. One Sunday we just passed by and heard the old organ playing and get very nice introduction about the history and how to play by an organist and the Lady at the desk in the church. Take a roundvisit of the church, which is a must, documentations are available too.
