A Great Way To Spend An Afternoon..

We were traveling in the Netherlands during the summer of 2022. We were invited to a regional musselfest in Bruinisse, in the Zeeland province, in July, where the public is invited on all the fishing boats for a harbor cruise. We were invited to join the festivities aboard the touring ship “Denick II” and had a fantastic time. We enjoyed that afternoon cruise so much we decided to book our 50th Anniversary Celebration on the Denick II for August 3rd 2022. We booked a cruise of the Gevelingenmeer near the Central Parc at the Port Zélande Vacation Resort, one of their ports of call. We were able reserve a good portion of the below deck dining room for our 30 guests of family and friends, and had the Rederij Denick Team cater it for us. Words cannot express how grateful we are for how well our celebration went. The cruise was a total delight. The area absolutely beautiful. The soup and amazing variety of sandwiches were all freshly prepared and of excellent quality. We also had an open bar and a wonderful selection of deep fried Dutch snacks throughout the cruise, which was topped off by a coffee/tea service with the most delicious pastries, procured fresh from a local town bakery. Rederij Denick made our 50th Anniversary the epic celebration we had hoped for. The crew provided for an informative narrative of the area as we cruised along and staff provided the most amazing and personable service. If you are ever in the area of The Port Zélande Vacation Resort, we can wholeheartedly recommend spending a couple of hours on the Grevelingenmeer… the waters were calm and the scenery and sailboats magnificent. And they are very cost effective and we thank them for a different and most memorable afternoon.
