Smart landscape architecture
The whole complex of former fortification ‘Fort De Roovere’ is worth a visit, but this bridge is certainly one of the highlights. It’s beautifully made and the experience of walking through the water without getting wet is fun and unique. This is when architecture becomes art.

Great little feature at Fort de Roovere
Especially interesting for kids to see the water level at their own heigth. Each season offers different views. From the fresh greens in springtime to the floating autumn leaves later in the year.

Nice trench bridge
I have to say that i saw this bridge on some photos and i decided to visit it. It is a nice concept, quite simple and some photos are definitely better than the reality. It is a very nice area. The trench is quite small and it is particularly nice for the kids.
