Walking Along the River Dommel
We could park our car near the bridge to the lane of the estate. The castle "Nieuwe Herlaer" looks beautiful but it's a private property. You can walk along the river or just to the "Huis Haanwijk" through a long beautiful lane with leaning trees. At the end of the lane you will find the house ( a bit covered by trees at the front of the house). On each pilars of the gate there is a statue of a rooster. Both the gate and the tea house were closed. Nice walking area.
