Paid twice (1,50 euro for entrance) because gates didn't opened from first time, but all of the rest was cool

Nice view
Automated gates. Can't pay with cash, debit card only. For people who are afraid of heights, it's quite high. So going while it's windy.. just don't XD

View over cityscape
Since 2019 Tilburg has had the 35m high Kempentower from which supposedly you can have a view over the green Kempen region. Standing on the top platform the Kempen is pretty far away and hardly visible. More interesting perhaps is the city view. You get a rather good idea of old and new architecture of a middle sized Dutch town. Tilburg has just under 200,000 inhabitants. Nearby (towards the North) there is a small neighborhood around the Gasthuisstraat built in the 1930s, further away some modern highrise buildings and towards the South dull looking apartmentblocks from the 1960s. A bit of a chaotic mixture, but interesting to observe. It costs 1,50€ to get up.
