A magical experience - Disney-esque
Truly a magical experience. I took my (almost) 8 year old here and we arrived at 9:30 (half an hour before opening). If you're coming on a weekend or holiday, I highly recommend you come early and skip past the small stuff and head straight to roller coasters (if that's your thing). In general, queues last around 30-40 minutes so its not so bad. Food is affordable and not horrible, but you can also bring your own food and more importantly your own water. Another tip, download the app so you can plan your route, get all you attraction photos digitally and know the waiting times for each ride. Come with an appetite for fun. You won't be disappointed.

So good, we went twice in two weeks!
We had seen Maddie Moate do a video on YouTube when she visited Efteling several years ago, for winter and summer. We watched this when locked downstairs were on and we’re totally inspired to take our young children aged 3 and 5. After getting off the Amsterdam ferry, we went straight there. Instantly amazed. Lovely atmosphere. We were just in awe of it all. Best theme park we’ve ever been too. One day was definitely not enough. We had to rush off to a local campsite and continue travels to Austria but decided we’d leave there early to go back to Efteling again. So we went twice in two weeks. If that does not tell you how great it is, I don’t know what does. Everything about it is magical. Immaculate. Lots of restaurants and toilets. The food was reasonably priced and really good. Kids loved it. I’m looking at going at Christmas now. Fantastic and wonderful experience for the whole family.
