Eurocamp 2019

Me, my wife and 2 boys aged under 4 spent a week at Beekse Bergen with Eurocamp in a chalet and has a fantastic time. The chalet itself was nice, with all amenities you would need. I wiukd recommend buying a couples of fans for the summer months as it's becomes really hot during the day and into the evening. The safari was brilliant, our boys loved it, the animals are well looked after, we went on a bus safari as well as going in our car. The water park was really good, the beach was spotless, insiuld recommend buying a parasol as there aren't many umbrellas. Bike rental for the week was about €100 for 2 bikes plus seats for the children. The on site shop was good, bu you can get stuff alot cheaper for Aldi in Tilburg which was a 10 minute dri2. Would definitely go again

    Safari... but these Corona measures
The park itself is great. We did the walking Safari, which took us 5 hours with four little children. Some of the homes of the animals look quite bare and outdated but they are spacious and that is very important. I really enjoyed the park this far. However, it was far too crouded. No way you are able to Social distance anywhere on the narrow paths. This was a large disadvantage for me. I suppose letting half the amount of guests in at a time slot will improve this largely. I think they can and have to do better on this at the current time. Compliments on the sanitary, they added temporary toilets now and they were all neat. If Corona measures improve I will go back, if not only when I will be vaccinated.

    Second visit
We stayed here in August 2018. The villas were brand new. 3 years later in July 2021 we decided to return. Unfortunately, the villa we stayed in was showing signs of wearing. That by itself would be OK. However, for €800 for 2 nights I had expected the villa to be spotlessly clean. It wasn’t. There was dust under the main bed - dust makes me cough a lot - so I didn’t sleep well. The floor was dirty throughout the villa. There was a helium ballon from a previous guest on the ceiling. The walls had marks from squatted flies. It was just very disappointing as we could only make the comparison to our spotless villa 3 years earlier. On a positive note, we stayed next to the safari so we could see the amazing animals strolling or running past our veranda. We went swimming and the pool area is very well maintained. We also ate in the restaurant and the food was tasty and price was very reasonable. We also had pizzas delivered and they were also tasty and price very reasonable. So, overall, we would like to return for a third trip. However, if the villa is not spotless next time then it won’t be a fourth trip.
