A new training place for kids and adults
I witnessed the opening ceremony and the inauguration Thai boxing bouts during my trip to Nong Khai. The objective of Lightner Muay Thai is to set up a basic Thai boxing for kids (and adults). The facility is brand new with excellent equipment. They are dorm rooms for students in training on site. The owner Katreeya Pimpagul is a bilingual English and Thai. Travelers who cannot communicate well in Thai can benefit from this outfit. It is about 12 kilometers from downtown Nong Khai.

Place to learn and watch Thai boxing
This is a newly minted gym to teach Thai boxing with qualified trainer. The owner can also communicate in English. There are both short and medium length courses with a couple dorm rooms for students. The lessons can be tailor to youngsters and older people. The place is fully licensed with new and modern equipment. the gym is also intended to be a venue for boxing events.
