Good for a short visit
Asawann has those familiar brands for shops, restaurants and banks like in any Lotus or Central Plaza in Thailand such as Watsons, Yayoi, MK, Banana, Huawei, Krungsri, etc. but they are not under one same roof. You need to walk out from one building to another. From my memory there is only ground floor, no second floor. It’s good to visit at night when local restaurants might close when those chained restaurants still open. We ate and bought some snacks there. Across the street is where you can take a van to Udon Thani and they depart every hour. The signage say they go to Thai - Laos Friendship Bridge too but I didn’t try yet.
