Just wow! Great fishing, wildlife viewing with captains Katie and Brian.
Wow! If we could give more stars as a rating for captain Katie and captain Brian we would. We visited in May with another couple and had a blast on our fishing charter for Halibut and Salmon. We also went on the Eco tour across the Kachemak Bay and saw the beautiful wildlife. Katie and Brian know so much of the area and went out of their way to make our trip special. Their personal approach and passion for fishing and showing people the sights is what makes this so unforgettable. We caught a ton of fish and had so much fun. Would definitely recommend booking with Reel Salty! We can’t wait to come back.

Reel Salty is the REEL deal. Epic!
The Reel Salty charter came highly recommended from friends of ours that have fished with them multiple times. We wanted a family experience with our 10 year old daughter having an opportunity to catch fish. We live in Missouri and have a lot of freshwater fishing experience but nothing in the salt. This absolutely blew us away with both the enthusiasm of Katie and Brian as well as their ability to put us on fish. At times, all six rods had fish on them. Talk about excitement! They made sure we had lots of fish to take home and then took us to spots where they knew the big fish roamed. The largest fish of the day was 92 pounds. They were excellent with first timers and children. Our daughter now wants to become Katie’s deckhand when she turns 16. Their years of experience was well displayed with their skill in fishing and also the education they gave us. I felt so safe with their boating skills. Whether it be a family trip, a guys trip, girls trip, whatever trip….Reel Salty is the charter to choose! It was the best day of our 10 day Alaskan vacation by far. We cannot thank you both enough for the experience!

Awesome charter!
Brian and Katie were awesome and a lot of fun! Not only are they knowledgeable and experienced captains, but they made sure we reached our daily limits of halibut over our 2 day charter. Along with Rick and Mary they filleted our halibut at the end of each day and I was able to bring back 50 lbs of fillets! On my return flight I talked with others that did other charters, with disappointing results. So happy we used Reel Salty. So much fun, a trip my daughter and I will never forget!
