Unforgettable
We just finished a four day long range fishing trip out of Homer on the Sundy with six family and friends. Captain Garrett and Gavin were awesome and went above and beyond to make it a trip we will never forget. Everywhere we stopped we caught a ton of fish, including true trophies of all species we were targeting. The weather was amazing, whales were everywhere, the deck was constantly filled with fish, and we had an unbelievable time. After the trip we had our fish processed at Ninilchik for an excellent price and superb final product. I highly recommend the long range trip and Ninilchik Charters to anyone that loves fishing, great scenery, and even better people. Thank you to Mike, Garrett, Gavin and the rest of the Ninilchik Charters staff for an experience of a lifetime.

Fantastic
I booked my Alaska once of a lifetime fishing adventure through Souring Eagle Lodge and chose their Ultimate Package which includes six straight days of fishing, multiple species in different locations, including a Fly-out trip. All fishing trips except the Fly-out were scheduled with Ninilchik Charters. Courtney and Linda of Souring Eagle Lodge and John of Ninilchik Charters were wonderful people and worked hard to make my dream trip a fantastic experience. This trip was about fishing and nothing else. Of particular note, John was very helpful and even shipped our fish when we realized the boxes would not fit in the rental car, last minute on the way to the airport. Colby was FANTASTIC on our Halibut trip and worked his butt off keeping bait on hooks and Halibut in the box. Best of all the guides. Garret was also great on our Kenai River Sockeye Salmon trip, he was very attentive and instructive. I had a blast falling in the freezing river with a Sockeye on the business end of my line. Lost that one but will never forget the experience. These guys are all about fishing and did a great job filleting, vacuum sealing and flash freezing our fillets. Arrived home in perfect condition and filled half of my stand alone freezer! Trip of a lifetime.

Family Fishing Trip
We loved Captain Thomas!!! He took us clamming and on one of our halibut trips. Would highly recommend him! The second trip we took was on the larger 65 foot boat and was good but not as fruitful. It was harder to fish with so many lines in the water. The crew was wonderful though!! The disappointment with the larger boat is that we were supposed to do a multi species and really only got to do halibut. It was more money than the halibut so it would have been nice to see a little refund since we did not get any bottom fish. On that though, I would highly recommend Ninilchik Charters hands down as one of the best to book through on the Kenai.
