Must do in Twillingate
This is a nice lighthouse and it also offers the Johnson Geocentre Titanic display/exhibit for a few of $5 per person. Children under 5 years old are free. They accept cash only so I was glad one person in our party of 9 had cash! The young man at the desk was also very nice and obliging. The exhibit does not have all of the artifacts that were present at the original exhibit at the Geocentre, however it is well done and worth reading through if one has the time to do so. On the day we visited, it was choppy on the water and windy, not detracting from the rugged romantic feel of the Lighthouse

“A must see: Long Point Lighthouse”
The Long Point Lighthouse is a must see while visiting Twillingate. We enjoyed doing the 1.6 km hike to Nana’s hole. This hike gives you many amazing vistas. We enjoyed taking photos of the lighthouse from the front and also the back side. We returned to see the sunset and also the full moon rise. Very stunning! Another must do is a trip to the little Fudge/Icecream/ and gift store! One downside is there are no public washrooms, unless you pay $ 10 to tour the exhibit. Enjoy!

Stunning Vista
Outstanding views of the coast. You can take a longer hike that takes you to the Lighthouse or drive up. Unfortunately the lighthouse was closed. Not sure if it was too early in the season or it is closed permanently but you can walk around the property and enjoy the vistas. Cute little gift and fudge shop on the premises.
