On a Saturday on the 4th day of a heat wave my wife and I drove up to Newburyport. Was pleasant along river, but still hot. First we went in a few shops downtown, browsing. Then we went in The Oldies building on the river, which sells interesting old things, but still hot, even though they had all the doors open. We walked along the park for a while, then sat on the benches a while, and then ate at Tuscan's, which was excellent (it is right on the water.)See more..
