Working farm offering a fall corn maze, pumpkin patch, wagon rides, petting zoo, and kids play area. Petting zoo animals include fainting goats, pygmy goats, chickens, pot belly kids, and a calf. The farm also raises Belgian Draft Horses, cattle, and donkeys. We are open from mid September through October for pumpkin picking and corn maze adventures. There is also fresh produce seasonally. Winter sleigh rides run from mid December through February and are located at the Historic John Brown Farm in Lake Placid, NY. The farm also has seasonal produce for sale, as well as fresh eggs.

Funky Farm Fun
I called and got their voicemail so I texted Melissa who said to come on by no problem :) I wasn’t sure what to expect but when I got there me and my girlfriend were greeted by happy friendly faces, and kindly pointed to the premises. There’s a petting zoo with baby goats, pigs, donkeys, horses, ponies, chickens, roosters, sheep and I could not believe how friendly and loving the animals were! There were also more goats and horses down the road to see and get close to. It was an incredible way to spend several hours and would so highly recommend visiting in a heartbeat!

Proposal ride
This was a very memorable ride for my now fiancée and I. The lit lanterns along the trail, the trail going between the snow covered trees, the conversation with the driver. We will never forget this experience. Well worth the money for the private ride. My future bride will always remember this sleigh ride. We even got to stop and take some pictures by the lanterns.
