    Unique And Unusual Rocks
I took bus 1815 from Taipei City Hall Bus Station to Yehliu which took a little over one hour. There were a lot of stops on the way but if no one was waiting at the bus stop or ringing the button to get off then the bus kept on driving. From the bus stop it was about a 15 minute walk to the entrance. Ticket price for an adult was 120NTD. A map with the key sights to see and a little history was available in the tourist center along with clean bathrooms. The sun was quite intense at 11am so I was glad I used lots of sunscreen. The trail was paved but you could get off and walk amongst the rocks in most areas. Signs and a red painted line (faded) warned you of the limits. The first group of rocks were the mushroom and candle shaped ones. It was like a little forest of weirdly eroded and honeycombed rocks that were popular for selfies up close. Along the way to the next group were so many potholes along the ocean that were small tide pools filled with seaweed, crabs, etc. The queen’s head had its own line that was busy the whole day. Nearby were the fairy’s shoe, elephant and dragon head. Further way (past the snack shop) were the bird and tofu rocks. There were a lot less people walking here. Some of the pathways branching off the main trail were closed except for one that ran along the side of the mountain and give an overhead view of the ocean side trail that was closed I did walk all the way to the end of the park where the trail ended at a covered lookout perched above. It was windy (hold on to your hats) but had a nice view. A picnic table and benches were here. I probably would not do that again given the distance and less things to see on the way. After exiting the park there was a covered shopping mall with cold drinks, food and souvenirs. Quite a lot of stalls to choose from. Overall a nice side trip for half a day if you want to see something different, enjoy rocks or in the area.

Amazing day tour @ Yehliu geopark , jioufen old street and shifen waterfalls
My hubby told me that he booked a day tour for us and the driver will pick us 9:30. In the Morning, When we arrived at the meeting place our driver guide Charlie's waiting there and he was very courteous . The car was very clean and comfortable with (Free Water ) he gave us facemask and offer some candies too ?. When we reach our first destination (Yehliu geopark) it's raining he prepare our raincoat. Our guide was so helpful explaining and answering all of our questions. Very exciting with the cool breeze of wind walking beside seaside was so fun I really enjoy the photo oops and watching the waves in yehliu after yehliu we had our lunch in fishport restaurant nearby the seafood was so delicious specially the scallops ? hmmm I love it yummy ????? after lunch ready for our next destination .I was amazed to see golden water falls and the ⛰⛰ going up to the jioufen old street it was really unforgettable experience up there, the last spot is the shifen waterfalls very nice it's like little Niagara falls very good for photoshoots specially for nature lover I love ??. I highly recommend our guide driver , "Taiwan Charlie Chartered Tour" Charlie was great he was extremely knowledgeable. My thanks to him for making this trip for me and my hubby enjoyable experience.
