去新山!?還是夢湖!? Go "New Mt."? or "Dream Lake"

新山夢湖現在幾乎都被連在一起, 其實同一個入口, 一邊可以走向「新山步道」, 一邊則是私人產業的小水塘「夢湖」 主人很友善地開放夢湖宮一班遊客遊憩, 它其實並不大, 旁邊有涼亭, 簡單的造景, 步道, 還有主人開設的一個小café. 從台北市要40~50分鐘, 從汐止市區上來大概是20~30分鐘。拍拍照或者小坐一下都是不錯的選擇。唯一可惜的是因為遊客增多, 外面的攤販以及隨之而來的髒亂也越來越令人憂心。 “New Mountain” and “Dream Lake” are often linked together yet they are actually two different places sharing the same entrance. So 300 Meter after entrance you may see sign for “New Mt. trail” on one side and “Dream Lake” on the other side. Dream Lake (not as big as “lake”) is in fact private property. Landlord is friendly as to welcome any visitors. Good place for a short break or taking pictures. Make sure you don’t leave any trash/garbage here.

    Beautiful lake
    Very beautiful lake, but we visit there in weekend, very narrow road to drive and so many cars!! Aside from the traffic, it is a pretty lake with a lot of live fish. Good for photo taking.

    Quiet little pond
    POND. Not lake. But fun for a professional photo shoot. Not too far out of the city.
