Lots of fun and friendly staff

I have not been here since I was a child but am so glad to return with 3 of my own Primary aged children. Some of the buildings need repairs and it was also effected in the recent storms and flooding. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, they make the day when more special. The steam train is a huge highlight as is the fossicking. The food was yum and the childreb enjoyed the paddle boats, horse wagon ride and exploring. It's a great day and I highly recommend visiting.

An Interesting Theme Park Which Takes You Back To The Colonial Era
What a unique and interesting theme park this is. Timbertown depicts a saw-millers village during the colonial era. There is a real working steam train which goes around the entire park which was fun and there is also a steam roller which takes you around though the park. The village itself I thought was so interesting I really felt like I had stepped back in time. The place is a little rundown could do with a little freshening up but I honestly didn't mind because to me it really gave off that vibe of being in a colonial era village. Definitely a place that you must visit if you are in Port Macquarie

    Recommend for families with kids
Kids loved the steam train ride, gold panning, horse carriage riding, water paddling and watching the blacksmith carving a snake. It was nice to take kids to a place that was different to what we are used to. This is the place where we experience the olden days of 1800s and a day we had no phones and just explored. Kids loved the steam train and water paddling the best as they were searching for it. Staff was friendly and would recommend it for all families with kids.
