    An extensive well designed museum
This is one of the best rural museums we have visited in Australia. Extensive displays in their own area or building that allows an excellent presentation of the region's heritage over the years since settlement. Several buildings from the area have been relocated and reassembled here, including Don Bradman's home cottage from birth to 3 year old. Something for every age group to enjoy. Very accessible. Allow 2 hours for good coverage.

    Plenty to see
One of the great aspects of this museum is the very breadth of what is on view. Many of these places struggle to fill a small barn with local rubbish barely worth your time but this place has so many facets you can easily spend an hour or two here depending on what you are into. There are vehicles, machinery, farm equipment and social history all laid out with plenty of information boards and the like. Quite how a small town like Temora can put together such an array is beyond me but it's a very good effort. Friendly staff, clean amenities and the like all go into making this one of the best local museums you are likely to see.
