Have attended the opera here before and loved it, we loved our recent visit to see “La Boheme” too. JB who sold us the tickets in the box office was super helpful, picking us really good seats and she was so nice and friendly. We did have good seats however some guests simple don’t know how to behave at the opera. We had to tell some ‘ladies’ to shut up as they talked through most of the first half, people turned up late causing disruption! Had this been the royal opera house in London they would not have been let in until after the interval and the chatterbox’s would have been asked to leave. As a positive, the production was exquisite and moving. Pre order your drinks, it’s much easier than queueing and saves time. I’m all a good night.

Amazing place to see a show, great wheelchair access
Took my elderly mother to see Phantom of the Opera at Sydney Opera House. Staff were amazing in assisting with wheelchair access, including arranging drop off at Diamond zone. Caterina and Jane were so helpful, assisted with access , booking for dinner, highly recommend Portside for predinner dining and amazing sunset. Brilliant show, whheelchair spot great. Thankyou Caterina and Jane. Dont hesitate to visit Opera house if you need a wheelchair- very accessible and fantastic assistance.
