Sir Donald Bradman Birthplace Museum, New South Wales, Australia

This was about $5 to enter from memory...so relatively cheap. There is the building that Don was born in and another house that is full of historical items. There is also a video to watch to learn about Don. I have to admit I am not a fan of cricket, but I am rather impressed by the man who was born here. He believed in his sport, he believed in Australia, in community and in people. So even if you are not a cricket fan, this is an interesting place to visit. And it really is the place that he was born... not a family home like I thought when I arrived, but rather it was like a maternity hospital back in the day. It just makes sense that if you are in town that you visit this museum if nothing else.

    So much to see
Even a person with just a passing interest in cricket would find this place fascinating. So much to learn about our greatest ever cricketer and the type of gentleman he was. Our current cricketers should all visit this place! Worth every cent of the $5 entry fee

An excellent display run by volunteers
Although this was not the Bradman family home, Don Bradman (& many others) were born here at the private hospital. Manned by knowledgeable volunteers, each room is full of Bradman memorabilia and lots of information. I found it interesting although Im not even "into cricket". There are souvenirs available to purchase for those wishing to.
