Fascinating
What a fascinating place, just so much history in these buildings. It is a must see. This museum has so much within its walls that it could take several hours to really go through this place. Go and learn so much about the people and area.

A museum that is worth a visit.
There is so much interesting exhibits to see as the museum displays takes in the many gaol cells and exercise yards... It covers indigenous and colonial history of Silverton area and you will need a few hours to see all of the displays. When I am back in the district..I will be back. It is a very good museum.

Very good local museum
This is a great small museum full of interesting local historical memorabilia and facts. It's larger than it appears from the front. There is so much information and displays that you have to move slowly if you want to take it all in. Definitely worth visiting when you are in Silverton.
