Robert Stein Vineyard and Winery is one of Mudgee's premier wine labels, established in 1976 and now in its third generation of expertise. Robert Stein produces a wide range of award winning, single vineyard wines, made solely from our 60 acre vineyard. Third Generation, Jacob Stein is at the helm as Winemaker with the quality of the wines being well recognized, winning the 'Winemaker of the Year' at the Mudgee Wine Show from 2017-2021. Robert Stein Winery is also rated Red 5 Star by James Halliday, Australia's most acclaimed wine critic. Great wine tasting
Great wine tasting @ the cellar door. Jeff was really knowledgeable about the wines, and persuaded us to try a couple we had discounted based on the description. Glad we followed his advice - we left with a bottle of each!

Simply Brilliant Wines + Great Experience with Jo
Simply Brilliant Wines - great tasting run with Jo, and the accompanying platters were brilliant. For those looking to visit, the Stein staff do a $5 deli selection to go with your wines as a small taste of their platters ($20 for 2 people). Highly recommend. The Reserve Chardonnay was 10/10 for us (a classic style with oak and butter) and the Reserve Shiraz & Mudgee Gold were also awesome wines. Highly recommend this vineyard. It may not have the most premium views from cellar doors, but easily best wine in Mudgee.
