Lovely Reserve
We had never been to the township of Minnamurra so decided to take a look. Rangoon Reserve was a wonderful spot beside the very pretty estuary. There was plenty of parking, a wonderful beach, boat ramp, kids playground, picnic facilities and an amenities block. Being nice calm water meant that little kids right through to those in their senior years were enjoying the water. Also a great place for paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing. The coastal walk also runs through here so we went for a bit of a walk up the next headland which was very scenic.

THERE ARE SHARKS IN THIS RIVER
this is a hidden gem. with tennis courts kids playground and bbq facilities. a sand bar in the middle of the river at low tide. its a great place for a swim. kayak or paddle board. but there have been sharks in this river. finding a car park is difficult due to the popularity.

Beautiful and serene
This spot is heavenly and it is not overcrowded. It is great for people that aren't strong swimmers but would still like to dip their legs. Otherwise there is the option for a more challenging swim out to the sandbar and beach. Just beautiful.
