Love the walk.

From out of town, I always make a point of walking along the river when in Dubbo. It is certainly a wonderful way to start the day. Friendly locals usually say hello, the scenery is lovely especially if you do the very long walk out to the rail bridge off the Old Dubbo Road. Beware of flies in summer, some areogard is a godsend! 16kms of very enjoyable walking!

    Nice walk
    Nice river- a little dirty today though, perhaps after the recent floods. Behind the shopping strip there is a small park and walking track along the river. Pleasant place to sit and chill. Beware of mozzies though!

    Macquarie River
    Visited on Monday 3rd February. We were staying nearby and went for a walk along the river, there are good walking tracks and even an exercise area if you want to use it.
