Great cycle/pedestrian paths and easy ride. Shame no coffee outlets
As with other areas around Wagga Wagga, the shared pedestrian/bike paths are fabulous. We continued our ride from the Botanical Garden out to the Lake with only a couple of roads along the way. Flat paths and easy for cyclists and walkers alike. Should have taken some snacks with us as little (nowhere) open on New Year’s Day to get a coffee or any food. The path onwards took us directly back to the Big4 Caravan Park where we were staying which was just wonderful at the end of a long day out.

    Perhaps I'm missing something...
Expansive lake about 10 minutes from the centre of town. Minimal bird life seen, and other than the size, not much else to appreciate (other tan some of the "look at me" homes over looking the lake. Perhaps this is a summer time location, but the billabong and surrounding parks near the National Glass Gallery, were much more enjoyable.
