Submarine. In a town. In the country!
Not only does the museum boast a full submarine in the park, but the actual central section of the AE2 - the second submarine that saw action in the Dardenelles in WW1 - is also there. It's incredible. If you're passing this way, come off the highway and see it.

Kids loved exploring submarine
Kids loved the submarine and explored it all over. Cafe staff were great but it was a shame the museum and visitor information didn’t open until an hour or two after we passed through town. Fantastic sight in the park though

Yes, a submarine in Holbrook!!
Didn’t go into the museum as such but did have a look at the huge submarine, HMAS Otway, outside which is free for any passers by to look at as well as walk on the deck. Quite an amazing sight from the street considering you are miles inland. Read the history signage to find out more as to why a submarine museum is in Holbrook.
