Great weekend trip
This zoo was great. We arrived early and were able to see all of the animals. The penguin exhibit was our favorite. It took us about 3 hrs to see the whole zoo. The food and drinks were expensive (as anticipated) but we packed our snacks and splurged on a toy for our son and a local beer. I recommend bringing a water bottle to fill as the have water fountains and a water is $6.00. There is a park in the middle of the zoo that is nice for a place to eat your snacks. Mobile ordering is available and recommended. There is quite a bit of construction going on but there is still a great deal to see. Would definitely come again.

One of the best zoos
Even though it was chilly, there were many animals out for us to see. A lady was walking around giving visitors informative facts about the animals. We learned neat stuff about a brother and sister lion, the spotted hyena and 3 leopards called the 3 beans...they are each named for a different bean. We learned much more than I can write here. I was impressed that they have a blind snow leopard with mobility issues there. This zoo ranks high amongst all zoos we have visited.

Good
I am a native here and love our zoo! I went recently with my son to see the new penguin exhibit. It is awesome and the penguins seem so happy ? my only suggestion is that there was a lot of construction and many animals were off display at this time. I feel like people should be told of this before they purchase tickets for the day
