A great experience if you have never been here.

This is a worthwhile stop if you are travelling through. You can't find this anywhere else in the world so it is well worth the time to drive through this bridge. Also Hartland is a nice little town so stop and look around while in Hartland.

    Beautiful Historic Landmark
We saw a sign for this bridge on the highway and decided to take a detour to check it out - I'm very glad we did! It's advertised as the world's longest covered bridge at 1,282 feet and it was a very cool experience to drive through. The construction is fascinating. There is a modern bridge visible in the distance and the contrasting visual was stunning. Once on the Hartland side of the Bridge there is a super cute local restaurant (CK's Canteen) with a patio and picnic tables overlooking the Saint John river. We ordered fish and chips for takeout and opted for a picnic table right on the river. It turned out to be an awesome impromptu dinner date. Highly recommend.

    Fascinating historic bridge!
We had heard Heartland was the world’s Longest Covered Bridge so we decided to check it out. It was fascinating to see and drive on a long one way wooden covered bridge. People on both directions take their own turn on passing unto the bridge. Under neath we can see St John River where sometimes you can see and fish salmon.None was seen by us but we did find picnic tables where we had our lunch.
