What a wonderful treat ! Visited the Museum during the Madeira Feast of the Blessed Sacrament. Beautiful garden cafe area with attention to detail in the preservation of the heritage of the Madeiran culture. A bit off the beaten track, hours are limited. Call ahead to check times / go online. Would be a nice addition following a Whaling Museum visit, then dinner at one of the many Portuguese restaurants in the area. See more..
