Character
Small town nestled below the Pyrenees. Not a huge amount here but it is clean and friendly and has plenty of character. Some nice bars.

Santa Maria portico - amazing!
We went to Sanguesa on a supermarket trip (!) but decided to look round the town. So glad we did! There are a number of medieval buildings but the 11th century church of Santa Maria was amazing. We stood for a good 10 minutes just looking at the portico's carved relief. This is a little town in the real Spain. Festivals, bull runs and bullring - and a real community. Long may these things, and their traditions, last.

Nice medieval village
One of the main attractions in the area. One thing not to miss is the Santa María Church´s façade. The whole village is worthy a promenade.
