No bulls but still run:Pamplona
The San Fermin bull run usually takes place in mid-July. What do you do if you are in Pamplona in November? Feel the atmosphere by walking the route that what you do. We started at the pen's where the bulls are held before they are released. The 875 m route starts at Santo Domingo passed the bridge over the Agra River over a road going uphill. No bulls? Use your imagination and see if you can outran the bulls running uphill. Don't bet on it. This is probably the most dangerous stretch as the bulls are fresh and full of energy. At the end of this stretch is the Town Hall where Ayountamiento Square is. This short street known as Mercaderes is where one should make an escape if you are not up to it.Movinv onto Estafeta, here the straight allows the bull to run fast and wild. At the end of this street, the bulls head towards the bullring or Plaza de Toros. The run ends in the bullring but the danger here is that the route to the entrance is narrow and runners tend to run onto each other if you are not careful as the bulls are right behind you. The bulls are then lead to the pen's by dobladores and are later killed when they take part in bull fights in the arena. Sad but I enjoyed being able to image my run. Go for it.

Go there straight away
Very very pleasant and helpful people just willing to please. It can be a nightmare with all the tourists...but they were great. They only open after the bulls have run in the morning...otherwise the bulls might run through the office !
