Nacedero del Urederra, Navarra, Spain

4.5 (529 reviews) Spent Ranking #1 in Baquedano National Parks

One of the many unmissable experiences of Navarra

A truly beautiful walk which, for the main part, follows the river, with its stunning turquoise water and enchanting waterfalls, through the sublimity of the surrounding nature. The walk is about 6km, the (circular) path is clearly signposted and there are no sections of the walk which would pose a problem for inexperienced hikers. A reservation is necessary (easily done on-line at a cost of 5 euros). My only complaint is that the final part of the walk is currently off-limits.

    Beautiful nature, well maintained path
The round hike from the parking is about 6km long. The first 1,5km are going through the village to the start of the forest. The village itself is also cute already. The forest and river are extremely beautiful! The water is truly blue as in the many pictures posted here. The path looks very new and must have been renovated recently. It is very well maintained and less of a hike and more of a nice walk in the forest. There are a few stairs here and there but nothing too challenging. It is important to know, that it is not possible to get too close or even into the water anymore. A measure that was taken to preserve the environment. I would highly recommend to visit this place if you have the chance!

    Go Early!
You must book and try to get there early to avoid too many people. Very nice walk and fascinating waterfalls and pools - eerie blue water. An easy walk with plenty of viewing platforms. A few places to have coffee in the village too!
