Well worth visiting
We really enjoyed these excavations and the charming visitors' centre. The scale of the building work, the dam and the reservoir system were all impressive. Really enjoyed walking down the Roman street!

Good if really interested
For a couple of Euros you can walk around the ruins and see the stunning scenery. Video in Spanish explains it all but English signs are available. The later settlement, which was wiped out during the plague, is underplayed. Bit of a surprise as this is rarer than the Roman parts IMO. Helpful staff. Walkable from the campsite and village.
